Gear Slot In the beginning of the game, players will notice their gear slots rapidly get full, resulting in the frequently-repeated “Your Gear Slots are Full” message which prevents Max from selecting new equipment until the old items are removed or space is found. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenge missions. Since a lot of these challenges are missed and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to reach the maximum number inventory slots available in the game. A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Agency Pickups As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot. You can take them out later. These pickups are especially useful if you need to pass through a frisk later in the course of your mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise be suspect. You can only hide one item in a pickup location. This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and other items. Then, walk to the mission marker and locate a mob when you arrive.
